It had been 6 years since I'd been to Colorado to visit my aunt and cousins. We decided to get together this summer, now that Melissa & Jason and family have moved back "home." This was Jarrett's first visit to Colorado, and the plane ride in to a dry and flat Denver had left him thinking, "This is not the Colorado I imagined." After a barbecue in the mountains and a little road trip to Boulder we captured in our memories the beauty of the Rockies. Tristan and Karina played very hard with all of their cousins, and were sorry to leave them. Aunt Kathy entertained us with stories of some very colorful relatives, and the rest of us adult cousins became re-acquainted and just enjoyed laughing and being together. We hope this was the first of many future visits!!
