Can he really be 12??

My firstborn turned 12 last weekend. Unbelievable. Am I really that old?! (Don't answer that.)

Here's a little memory lane to show that he's always been a cute kid . . .

Here he is at about 1 year old, with me and my brother:
At 2 with Grandpa Roger:
At about 6 years old (at Azteca!):
At his baptism shortly after his 8th birthday:
Age 9:
10th birthday party with cousin Mitchell & sister Karina
And now on his 12th birthday! We wrapped his gift in a Justice box as a joke.
In it was a USC sweatshirt from Uncle Rob that he wears almost every day.
Here is the dinner he requested for his dinner & movie night with friends:

Here they are before going to the movie: Marc, Tristan, Brett, Richard & Issaya.
We are so thankful for Tristan. He is a thoughtful, smart, funny, and trustworthy kid. I just wish he wouldn't grow up so fast!

He is definitely a handsome boy! My oldest turned 13 2 months ago and I'm still having a hard time with it.

I remember you coming to my dorm, very pregnant with Tristan, to look at my wedding dress. It is just strange how my kids can change in such a short time. By-the-way, I LOVE the braces! 12 is the perfect age for them..... then he'll be ready for the ladies by the time he can go to dances :)
