My first soccer tournament was hard work! In our first game we beat Crossfire 4-1. Crossfire was a team that's coached by professionals. So we felt good by winning. Later that day we played a tougher team. At the end of the first half we were losing, then we came back and won, 2-1! After that we went home to get a good night's sleep. The next day we won 8-1 and then lost 8-1 in the semi-finals. We did good in that tournament.
(Mom adds - Tristan scored 3 goals in the first 2 games. He usually plays mid-fielder.)
Here's Karina "watching" the 2nd game on Friday - it was 80+ degrees outside.

Tristan in his fancy warm-ups and soccer backpack, complete with lucky #13 embroidered on.

Some of his moves in the 2nd game.

He scored here . . .

And crashed here . . . :)

Nice moves!!! Jaxen and Madeline are getting ready for soccer in the fall, maybe you could teach them some skills when you are here!
Good job, Tristan! Your blog is looking great! Hopefully we can see you guys before school starts up again!
